The FBT J12A is a 12-inch 450W active PA speaker designed for portable and installed audio applications. The FBT J12A active PA speaker features a lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction. Available in a black & white finish the FBT 12A speakers' modern cabinet appearance provides fixed installations with an elegant design that blends into any decor. The FBT J12A is has a two-way design incorporating a 12" low-frequency woofer and 2" HF custom compression driver coupled to a 90°H x 60°V horn.
The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 2kHz. With a frequency range of 50Hz - 20kHz the FBT J12A speaker provides high-fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 128dB. A front face steel grille protects the speaker from external damage.
The bi-amplified FBT J12A active speaker features a 250W RMS low-frequency amp and a 50W RMS high-frequency amp. The control panel features a level control, HP filter switch, mic/line selector, preset switch (original, floor/vocal, boost/lounge, club/dj) led power on, protection/limiter led indicators, a balanced XLR and Jack in, a balanced XLR link out.The two M10 fly points built into the cabinet along with the optional mounting brackets allow the FBT J12Aspeaker to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings.
